Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you about the processing of personal data when visiting and using the website klassifieds.webpremiere.de in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Axel Nitzschner

Otto-Lilienthal-Str. 50, 01587 Riesa, Germany

Email: info@webpremiere.de

2. General information on data processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services, or where you have given your consent.

The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent), (b) (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores it in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page/file requested, the amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser type and operating system.

This data serves the technical delivery, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Our servers are operated by IONOS SE and are located in a data centre in Germany (Berlin). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS; it provides for processing within the EU/EEA. Processing takes place exclusively in Germany.

4. Cookies and local storage

Language preference: When you choose a language, we store your preference in a technically necessary cookie (“klassifieds.locale”, lifetime up to 12 months) and in your browser’s local storage, so that the website appears in the correct language on your next visit.

Cart/session cookie: When you add an item to the cart or open the cart, our connected shop (WooCommerce) sets a session cookie in order to assign the cart to you and retain it throughout the ordering process. As long as you do not use the cart, no such cookie is set.

Cart marker: Once you use the cart, we additionally store an entry in your browser’s local storage (“klassifieds.cart.active”) so that we can show your cart again on your next visit — and only then query it from the shop. The entry is removed automatically as soon as your cart is empty.

Consent: we store your choice from the cookie banner in a cookie (“klassifieds_consent”, lifetime 6 months) — otherwise we would have to ask you again on every page view. It holds only the time of your decision and whether you consented to the marketing category.

These cookies are necessary for the functions you have requested (§ 25 (2) TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings; individual functions may then no longer be available.

5. Cart and order processing

To display products and prices and to manage your cart, the website communicates with our WooCommerce shop backend. In doing so, the cart contents and technical session attributes are processed.

To complete a purchase, you are forwarded to our shop’s checkout. The order and billing data you enter there is processed to perform the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

6. Payment processing (Stripe)

Payment is made as part of the order completion via the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). The data required for payment is transmitted to and processed by Stripe.

The legal basis is performance of the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Stripe’s privacy notices apply in addition.

7. Licence management

To issue, activate and manage your licence we transmit your name, your email address and the order and plan data to our licence server (license.webpremiere.de).

The licence server is operated by us and, like our other systems, is located in a data centre in Germany. This is therefore not a disclosure to third parties but processing under our own responsibility.

The purpose is the performance of the contract concluded with you, in particular providing, verifying and renewing your licence. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The data is stored for the term of the licence and beyond that within the statutory retention periods.

8. Live demo

On our home page we offer a free live demo of the plugin. So that we can show you whether a test installation is currently available, your browser requests status information from our demo server (demo.troove.store) when the home page loads and roughly once a minute thereafter. Your IP address is transmitted to that server in the process.

The request is made expressly without transmitting credentials; no cookies are set. If you open a page other than the home page, the request does not occur.

The demo server is operated by us and is likewise located in a data centre in Germany. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliably showing prospective customers whether the demo is available (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

If you start the demo, a dedicated test installation is assigned to you for 30 minutes. After that it is reset automatically: the installation’s database is dropped in full and recreated. Everything you entered in the demo is removed in the process — at the latest about a minute after the session expires. The legal basis for processing during the session is pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

9. Auxiliary service of the plugin (pinger.webpremiere.de)

The plugin “Klassifieds for WooCommerce” (free and Pro alike) includes an optional auxiliary service that we operate at pinger.webpremiere.de: it makes sure WordPress runs its scheduled work — imports, synchronisation, cleanup — on time, even while the website has no visitors. The service is switched off by default. Nothing is transmitted unless the operator of a website switches it on in the plugin’s settings (“Auxiliary service”).

When it is on, the website’s server sends the service one request when it is switched on and then once a day. It contains the website’s address, the plugin version, the edition (free or Pro) and a fixed token that marks the request as coming from the plugin; the token is the same in every copy of the plugin and identifies no one. Like every request on the internet, it also transmits the server’s IP address, the date and time, and the identifier WordPress sends along (the WordPress version and the website’s address). No content of the shop or its ads and no data about the website’s customers or visitors is transmitted.

The service then requests the website’s wp-cron.php file about once a minute so that WordPress runs its scheduled work. These requests transmit no data.

We store one entry per website: its address, the plugin version, the edition and the time of the last registration — not the IP address. The entry is deleted as soon as the service is switched off in the settings or the plugin is deactivated, and automatically once a website has not reported for four days. The server log files, which record every request with its IP address, are deleted after seven days. On request we delete an entry at once; a message to the contact details above is sufficient.

We use the list of registered websites solely to operate the service; it is not passed on. The service runs on our own server in Germany (see section 3). The legal basis is the consent the website’s operator gives by switching the service on (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); they can withdraw it at any time by switching the service off again. This data is personal data only insofar as the website’s address or its server’s IP address allows conclusions about a natural person.

10. Reach measurement (only with your consent)

If you consent to the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner, our shop records which channel brought you to us: the referring page, campaign and search parameters of the address you arrived on, the first page you visited, how many pages you viewed, and your browser identification (user agent). This is stored in cookies prefixed “sbjs_” in your browser and, if you place an order, attributed to that order.

The sole purpose is measuring the effectiveness of our advertising and sales channels. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG).

Without your consent this collection does not take place — the scripts required for it are not loaded in the first place. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

11. Fonts

This website embeds the fonts used (Inter) locally from our own server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established; your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

12. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.

13. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, a message to the contact details above is sufficient.

14. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other legal remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.

15. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
